Maxima has been engaged to recruit up to 3 people with a HC Truck License who are looking to start a career in the OIL and GAS industry.
You will be working with a highly recognised company with the possibility of permanency after a trial period.
About the Role
3 x FIFO roles - with flights, accommodation and meals on site all paid for.
Flights are from Brisbane to Roma (QLD) however if you live within a few hours of Roma and would prefer to drive in and out, we can negotiate start / finish times to allow for reasonable travel time on the days you would be required to travel.
You will need to be able to pass a full medical and have a good level of work fitness as these roles require you to be working 12-hour days, 7 days per week (notionally on 3 weeks on - 3 weeks off roster).
Initially working as a casual with the view to transfer to a permanent position after a trial period (approximately 3 months).
Truck driving is an important part of the role - with approximately 30% driving.
The remainder of the time you will be involved in rigging up, performing maintenance checks on trucks, pumps and other plant in readiness for performing operations, such as fracturing and stimulation.
You will be working with highly experienced operators who look to personalise the training you receive to help deliver results and enhance the great team environment.
About You
You are fit, healthy, mechanically minded person and hold a Heavy Combination (HC) Truck License.
You also have the following attributes:
- Ability to work in a remote environment in harsh climatic conditions
- Ability to work long days - doing manual work
- Reasonable computer literacy
- Good Numeracy Skills
- Good communication skills
- Team Player
- Easygoing person - with a good sense of humour
- High Mechanical Aptitude
