people2people are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Claims Coordinator to work for a State Government Department within the health space. This is an initial 3 month assignment, offering an immediate start. This role offers flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement. Located in Belmont 3216.
Duties:
- Manage the end-to-end process of WorkCover claims administration
- Ccalculate Pre-injury average weekly earnings
- Review, reconcile and notify payroll team to process weekly compensation payments
- Communicate professional and technical advice relating to WorkCover administration to staff, peers, managers
- Regular engagement with injured employees and line managers on workers compensation service provision
About you:
- Previous experience in the administration of WorkCover claims
- Previous experience in pay calculations and knowlefge of worker's compensation legislation
- A valid police check or ability to obtain a national police check
- Must be triple vaccinated or willing to get the 3rd vaccine.
